Job summary

Wawasan Open University (WOU) is expanding its Sales & Student Recruitment team across Penang, KL, JB, and Kuching. The role involves driving enrolment targets through proactive recruitment, managing the full sales cycle, and coordinating with schools and partners. Weekend events may be required.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Marketing or related field, with 1–3 years in sales, recruitment, or education, and strong communication and negotiation skills. CRM experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Marketing, Business or related field.
• 1–3 years in sales, recruitment, customer service, or education industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work on weekends for events.

Responsibilities

• Drive student enrolment targets through proactive sales and recruitment activities.
• Manage full sales cycle from enquiry generation to enrolment closure.
• Follow up prospective students and provide timely consultation on programmes offered.
• Understand student needs and recommend suitable study pathways.
• Ensure strong conversion rates and revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales progress in CRM system.
• Develop and maintain relationships with schools, corporate partners and external stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue B2B opportunities to expand student recruitment channels.
• Support institutional partnerships to drive long-term enrolment growth.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth enrolment process.
• Verify entry requirements and ensure proper documentation before application submission.
• Participate in education fairs, roadshows, and outreach activities.
• Monitor performance progress and provide feedback to improve recruitment strategies and overall effectiveness.
