Job summary

onsemi Malaysia is seeking a Product Characterization test engineer to support product engineering during new product development and manufacturing sustaining validation. You will help develop low-cost test solutions for Discrete & Modules on ATE platforms and bench.

Candidates should have experience with C/C++, Python, and Java, and understand ATE platform architecture to write low level test code. Electronics instrument knowledge is essential for this role.

This position offers a great opportunity to work with industry leading semiconductor devices, targeted for broad applications in Automotive and Industrial markets.

In this role, you will be part of Product Characterization test team, tasked with supporting product engineering team for new product development release and manufacturing sustaining validation.

Activities include developing low-cost test solutions for Discrete & Modules on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms and bench.

Product technologies include Silicon, SiC, GaN in various packages with multi dies/ pins in a package in-line with business goals and product growth.

Knowledge and experience with software development across C/C++, Python, Java is necessary.

Candidate should know ATE platform architecture and programming languages to develop low level ATE code for testing.

Electronics instrument knowledge is necessary.
