Job summary

ELS Language Centres in Malaysia is seeking an English Language Instructor to plan, teach and evaluate classes under the Academic Director's guidance, while maintaining student records and handling related administrative duties.

The role offers part-time hours (2–4 hours) from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with ongoing training and a higher-than-average part-time package. A CELTA or TEFL/TESOL certificate and 5 years ESL experience are required.

Qualifications

• Education: B.Ed / BA/BSc. + CELTA or other TEFL/TESOL (Minimum 120 hours)
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant ESL/EFL experience.
• Commit to 2 to 4 hours Mondays - Fridays from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Teaching assigned ELS programmes.
• Preparing lesson plans, exercises and tests.
• Testing, evaluating and counselling students on performance.
• Maintaining a conducive classroom environment.
• Participate in teaching observations for professional development.
