Job summary

Motorola Solutions is looking for a results-driven software engineer to join the IT Software Engineering Tools Team in Penang. You will help maintain and optimize our GitHub and Artifactory tooling, and contribute to a fast, agile environment that empowers 4,000+ engineers.

Applicants should have strong Python/Groovy/shell scripting skills, plus experience with GitHub pipelines, Docker, REST/JSON, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python, Groovy, and shell scripting.
• Experience with GitHub pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with Docker and RESTful APIs (JSON).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Open for fresh graduates with programming background.

Responsibilities

• Administer, support and maintain GitHub and Artifactory applications.
• Develop automation processes for these tools.
• Explore use of AI to modernize tool usage.
• Evaluate and onboard new tools, and provide user support.
• Learn DevOps practices and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
