Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced software engineer to lead automated testing for embedded video systems in Bayan Lepas, Penang. You will develop end-to-end test plans, automate with Python, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality firmware for in-car and body-worn cameras.

Candidates should have 5–8+ years in software development and test automation, and strong experience with Python, RESTful APIs, and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes). Relevant degree required.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8+ years of experience in software development and test automation.
• Advanced proficiency in Python is mandatory.
• Experience automating RESTful APIs CI/CD & Infrastructure; familiar with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Perform End to End Test on NPI program at device and system level.
• Drive test plan development & execution.
• Develop Python & scripts automation to increase coverage and speed.
• Maintain Jenkins / CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze defects and reproduce issues with engineering teams.
