Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation is seeking a C1 and Engineering Tools Team Leader within the Product Management Asia function. The role leads the C1 and Engineering Tools team responsible for configurators and tools like PowerBI, OSC, and EBS to enhance Sales and Application Engineering efficiency.

You will provide technical leadership, strategic direction, and cross-functional coordination to ensure scalable, reliable engineering tools aligned with business requirements.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Electrical / Thermal / Power design and applications.
• Experience with C1.
• Leadership experience managing technical or engineering systems teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the C1 and Engineering Tools team to ensure high performance and continuous capability development.
• Monitor project deliverables, resource allocation, risks, issues, and timelines, escalating to management where required.
• Drive team performance, capability development, and succession planning initiatives.
• Define and drive the roadmap for engineering tools and configurator development supporting the Opportunity to Order process.
• Oversee the technical design, prototyping, development, testing, release, and maintenance of product or solutions and related tools.
• Lead initiatives to automate Application Engineering activities through web-based or other engineering tools.
• Provide technical leadership and governance for C1 configuration logic, pricing logic, integrations, and approval workflows.
• Support and oversee day-to-day administrative functions pertaining to sales applications, especially C1 software and integrations among them, with a special focus on Price revisions.
• Ensure solution is scalable and meets overall business requirements, translate business requirements into technical specifications and identify/document functional gaps.
• Participate in solution architecture reviews with project teams prior to design and development activities.
• Work in close collaboration with the offering teams to define the specifications for new product configurators and ensuring the integration within IT ecosystem.
• Facilitation of, and direct involvement with content creation and data management enabling customers, partners, and internal / external stakeholders as appropriate to grow revenue and profitability.
• Provide leadership and guidance by effectively understanding and leveraging C1 functionality, configuration pricing logic, and price approval processes.
• Supporting creation of various KPIs using PowerBi/Smartsheet tools for reporting and ad hoc engagement in improvement of other processes within the AE community.
