Job summary

Aladdin Pacific (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of our production facilities in Johor Bahru. You will manage building maintenance, wastewater treatment, safety, and compliance with DOE and DOSH requirements.

You will develop policies, prepare monthly performance reports, supervise WWTP operators, coordinate with regulatory bodies, and ensure equipment uptime and proper stocking of chemicals.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Environmental or Engineering.
• Experience: At least 2 Year(s) in related field with exposure to RBA, SMETA, IWAY or any labor practice compliances audit.
• Fresh entries with relevant qualification/experiences are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of facilities, including building maintenance and wastewater treatment plant.
• Liaise with DOE for licensing and compliance issues and work with DOE on new requirements updates.
• Record findings for reference and reporting purposes; prepare monthly performance monitoring reports for DOE.

Job description

Oversee the day-to-day operations of facilities, including building maintenance and waste water treatment plant

Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures

To liaise with DOE for licensing and compliance issue.

Work closely with DOE for all the new requirement update.

Record all findings for reference and reporting purposes.

Prepare monthly performance monitoring report as DOE required.

To comply with DOE & DOSH requirement.

Analysts machine running hours and improve productivity.

To ensure work site free of any wastage and maintain neat and clean plant site.

To make sure all the machineries are working at full capacity, are stocked with the necessary materials, and are well maintained.

To ensure the smooth and efficient running of machines.

To ensure the conduct of the equipment and materials inspection as per checklist.

Prepare maintenance report and ensure that all the equipment maintained in good order.

Perform purchase order for daily consumption chemical to ensure smooth operation.

Maintain stock record of chemical and other materials for water treatment.

To ensure good housekeeping and proper handling, storage, and preservation of the product at all related areas.

To comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulation.

To fill up document & checklist on time.

Conduct inspection for all the waste water treatment plant and equipment.

Perform purchase order for daily consumption chemical to ensure smooth operation.

Maintain stock record of chemical and other materials for water treatment.

Provide training to WWTP operator.

REQUIREMENTS

Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Environmental or Engineering (Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical) or equivalent.

Experience: At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in related field with exposure to RBA, SMETA, IWAY or any labor practice compliances audit. Fresh entries with relevant qualification/experiences are encourage to apply.

Skills: Able to communicate and coordinate safety program for workers and proficient in Microsoft Office. Troubleshooting & modification skills, Supervisory skills, Management skills, Communication & Leadership skills, Computer Knowledge.

Competencies: Certified Environmental Professional Course in Sewage Treatment Plant Operation (CePSTPO - PCP & BP) or with technical qualification is an added advantage (Waste Water Treatment Plant, Schedule Waste, Engineering etc)
