Job summary

ORS Technologies Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Marketing & Public Relations Intern to join our Kuala Lumpur team. This hands-on role focuses on content creation, social media, design, and digital marketing, helping to strengthen our online presence and communicate technical solutions clearly.

You will translate engineering information into engaging visuals, develop campaigns, and support campaigns, product launches, events, and industry programmes while gaining practical marketing

Qualifications

• Good Canva skills are highly preferred; experience creating professional social media content is a priority.
• Strong interest in social media marketing and improving audience engagement.
• Creative eye for layouts, visuals, branding, and content presentation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Comfortable writing social media captions and short-form marketing content.
• Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and other relevant social platforms.
• Basic understanding of marketing, branding, PR, or digital content.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with a small team.
• Willing to work on-site in Kuala Lumpur.
• Available for a minimum internship period of 3 months.
• Students pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related field are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging social media content, graphics, posters, carousels, and marketing materials using Canva/PPT.
• Plan and develop content for ORS Technologies’ engineering, technology, and industrial solutions.
• Translate technical information provided by our team into clear, engaging, and easy‑to‑understand content.
• Help increase social media engagement, reach, brand awareness, and audience growth.
• Write and edit captions, website content, promotional materials, project highlights, and company updates.
• Develop creative ideas to showcase engineering technologies, solutions, projects, and industry applications across social media.
• Assist with content calendars, social media scheduling, and maintaining a consistent brand presence.
• Conduct basic market, industry, competitor, and content trend research.
• Support marketing activities for campaigns, product launches, events, exhibitions, and industry programmes.
• Assist with customer outreach and lead‑generation initiatives.
• Work with our engineering and business teams to understand technical information and turn it into effective visual and marketing content.
• Monitor basic social media and campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement.
• Engineering experience is not compulsory. We welcome candidates from marketing, communications, creative, business, or related backgrounds. An interest in engineering and technology, curiosity about how things work, or a talent for developing technical topics into engaging content is a strong advantage.
