Job summary

Mi Equipment is offering an internship for engineering students in Penang, Malaysia. You will gain hands-on experience with machine vision optics, data collection and analysis, documentation, and hardware evaluation under supervision.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer/ Optical/ Photonics/ Mechatronics or related field, with a minimum 12-week duration. Strong analytical skills and interest in optics and mechanical design are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer/ Optical/ Photonics/ Mechatronics or related engineering discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of optics and basic mechanical design.

Responsibilities

Hands-on of machine vision optics including evaluation and data collection/analysis.
Documentation preparation for machine vision project.
Wiring Diagram preparation.
Prepare report based on mini development project.
Assist engineer for hardware study project and evaluation study.
Perform machine vision hardware setup and evaluation for integration.
Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned with timely closure.
