Job summary

TAHAP WIRA SDN BHD is seeking an experienced professional to develop and coordinate Mechanical and Electrical designs for building services in line with project requirements. You will prepare technical drawings, 2D/3D models, and design documentation using AutoCAD and SketchUp Lite.

The role involves coordinating with architects, engineers, and authorities to resolve design issues, supporting construction, and participating in testing and commissioning to ensure compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate M&E designs including fire protection, plumbing, sanitary, electrical, and other building services
• Prepare calculations, drawings, 2D and 3D models, and design documentation using AutoCAD, SketchUp Lite, or other relevant design software
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, consultants, authorities, and stakeholders to resolve design coordination and technical issues
• Provide technical support during construction, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to technical queries, and ensuring M&E designs are implemented correctly
• Participate in testing and commissioning activities to verify system performance and compliance with project specifications
• Prepare and maintain as-built drawings, authority submission documents, and project design records throughout the project lifecycle

Job description

Key responsibilities

Develop and coordinate Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) designs, including fire protection, plumbing, sanitary, electrical, and other building services systems in accordance with project requirements, relevant standards, and authority regulations.

Prepare engineering calculations, technical drawings, 2D and 3D models, and design documentation using AutoCAD, SketchUp Lite, or other relevant design software

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, consultants, authorities, and other stakeholders to resolve design coordination and technical issues

Provide technical support during construction, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to technical queries, and ensuring M&E designs are implemented correctly
