Engineering Assistant (Process): Fresh Diploma Graduates in Engineering to Apply

Fresh Diploma Graduates in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Are Encouraged to Apply

Start your engineering career with hands-on experience in manufacturing, testing and process improvement.

You will work alongside engineers to investigate defects, prepare samples, carry out measurements and support process trials. This role suits fresh diploma graduates who enjoy practical work and want to develop their technical skills.

What you will do

Prepare, label and track samples for testing and defect investigations, ensuring proper identification and traceability.

Carry out visual inspections, dimensional measurements and basic tests under engineering guidance.

Record measurements, test conditions, observations and photographs accurately.

Assist engineers with defect verification, root cause investigations, process trials and checks of corrective actions.

Help maintain gauges, fixtures, tools, test equipment and consumables, and monitor calibration status.

Report recurring defects, equipment problems and safety concerns promptly.

Follow work instructions, quality procedures, safety rules and confidentiality requirements.

What you bring

A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Previous full-time work experience is not required.

Good written and spoken English to understand work instructions, document findings and communicate with colleagues.

An interest in hands-on testing, troubleshooting and manufacturing processes.

Basic understanding of engineering drawings and measuring tools gained through coursework, projects or industrial training.

Careful and accurate work habits, with a willingness to learn and ask questions.

Ability to work with Engineering, Quality and Production teams.

Relevant industrial training or final-year project experience is an advantage.

Familiarity with AI tools, medical device manufacturing or ISO 13485 is an added advantage, but is not required.
