Develop and improve the quality of vendors/suppliers to achieve company quality objectives.
Manage part qualification and incoming quality control to achieve company quality objectives.
Upgrade IQC members’ skills and capability.
Handle quality issue about incoming parts.
Key Responsibility
Lead the IQC inspection system for electronic and mechanical parts, ensuring alignment with quality standard and engineering specifications.
Work closely with the IQC supervisor to coordinate day-to-day IQC activities, including inspection scheduling, method enforcement, and operational discipline.
Drive continuous improvement in IQC inspection efficiency (TAT), accuracy and equipment effectiveness.
Review and approve incoming material specifications and inspection criteria for electronic components in coordination with Engineering and Procurement teams.
Investigate and manage supplier-related non-conformances for electronic components, including issuing reject reports (SIR), performing root cause analysis, and verifying corrective actions.
Serve as the technical interface for electronic component suppliers, supporting part qualification, specification alignment, and supplier performance tracking.
Support NPI and ECN implementation by ensuring inspection readiness and part qualification coverage.
Maintain and analyze IQC inspection data, identifying trends and recommending proactive countermeasures.
Collaborate with the Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) team for supplier audits or improvement activities specifically involving electronic components.
Support ISO 9001, ISO 45001 management system requirements from the perspective of incoming material quality.
