Kintec Global Recruitment seeks an Account / Cost Controller in Kuala Lumpur to support the delivery of complex energy engineering and construction activities from a local base. You will manage cost data, assist in reporting, and ensure auditable records across multidisciplinary interfaces.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in finance, accounting, quantity surveying, business or a related discipline with relevant cost-control or project-finance experience.
• Typically 3–7 years of relevant experience, adjusted for complexity and seniority of the assignment.
• Experience in offshore energy, EPC/EPCIC, transportation and installation, fabrication or marine construction is preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English; ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Responsabilités

• Maintain accurate cost, commitment, accrual and forecast data across assigned work scopes.
• Support monthly cost reporting, variance analysis, cash-flow visibility and EAC updates.
• Reconcile POs, subcontracts, invoices and change records with budgets and coding structures.
• Collaborate with project controls, procurement, finance and project teams to resolve cost-data discrepancies.
• Participate in planning meetings and provide status, risk and action updates.
• Apply document control and change management; maintain auditable records.
• Adhere to HSE, quality, ethics and compliance requirements; escalate concerns promptly.
