Job summary

Kian Joo Group in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Energy & Environment professional to collect and analyze energy monitoring data, perform site inspections, and complete energy data surveys.

You will lead projects related to energy savings, ISO 50001, and Industry 4.0, assist in reducing energy consumption and peak demand, and provide training on energy efficiency while collaborating with a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Energy & Environment, Energy Management, Electrical Engineering, Sustainable Development, or related field.
• Self-starter with confidence and good people skills.
• Strong planning, organization and coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication in English, both verbal and written.
• Experience in energy reporting is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze energy monitoring data and keep accurate records.
• Carry out site inspections and complete energy data surveys/audits.
• Lead projects related to energy savings, ISO 50001, and Industry 4.0.
• Assist in developing strategies to reduce energy consumption and peak demand.
• Provide advice and training on energy savings and efficiency.
• Undertake any task assigned by supervisor as needed.

• Diploma or Degree in Energy & Environment, Energy Management, Electrical Engineering, Sustainable Development, or any related science-based discipline
• Self-starter, confident and able to engage well with people
• Excellent planning, organizing and coordination skills
• Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (verbal & written) with a good command of the English language
• Some experience in energy reporting would be an added advantage
