Job summary

SkyeChip seeks an experienced Emulation & Prototyping Manager to lead the emulation team supporting IP, SoC, and system-level development programs.

The role defines emulation strategies, manages project execution, and drives pre-silicon validation and software enablement using industry-leading platforms. You will mentor staff and establish best practices across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in emulation, FPGA prototyping, hardware acceleration, or SoC verification.
• 3+ years of engineering leadership or people management experience.
• Strong expertise with Cadence Palladium, Synopsys ZeBu, Siemens/Mentor Veloce, or equivalent platforms.
• Solid understanding of RTL design, SystemVerilog, Verilog, UVM, and SoC integration.
• Experience managing complex projects and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, TCL, Perl, Shell).

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing emulation/prototyping team.

• Manage project planning, effort estimation, risk assessment, and resource allocation.
• Track project progress and provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.
• Partner with architects, RTL, DV, firmware, and software teams to enable pre-silicon validation and software bring-up.
