Responsibilities

• Keep accurate records of patient transport, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Assist in loading and unloading patients on stretchers and securing them safely in the ambulance.
• Assist paramedics and EMTs with moving patients and ensuring safety during transit.
• Maintain communication with dispatchers, medical staff, and emergency services.

The role will work closely with paramedics and other medical staff to provide a critical service in emergency situations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely drive and operate an ambulance in response to emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Ensure timely arrival at the scene and transportation of patients to medical facilities.
• Conduct regular checks on the ambulance to ensure it is fully operational, clean, and well-maintained.
• Keep accurate records of patient transport, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Assist in loading and unloading patients on stretchers and securing them safely in the ambulance.
• Assist paramedics and emergency medical technicians (EMT) with moving patients, providing basic first aid, and ensuring patient safety during transit.
• Maintain communication with dispatchers, medical staff, and emergency services.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and GDL license.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience as an ambulance driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move patients as needed. Work involves physical activity, including lifting and moving patients.
