Job summary

Taiping Medical Centre, part of KPJ Healthcare Berhad, invites applications for a Medical Officer position in the Accident & Emergency department. You will provide acute life-saving care, manage CODE BLUE events, and attend to patients in the ward before the consultant arrives.

We require an MBBS degree with 2–5 years of experience and a commitment to Quality Improvement, plus strong interpersonal and communication skills. Working hours include weekdays and Saturday with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree MBBS is required.
• 2–5 years of experience as Medical Officer or similar.
• Knowledgeable and active in Quality Improvement activities.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide absolute care to outpatients and emergency cases in Accident & Emergency.
• Attend to CODE BLUE and deliver acute life-saving care when needed.
• Assist in ward duties prior to consultant arrival and handover between shifts.
• Write referral letters and coordinate transfers; participate in training and CME activities.
