Jora Malaysia in Penang (Bayan Lepas) is hiring for a Firmware/Embedded Software Architect to design, implement and maintain embedded platforms. You'll work in cross-functional teams to develop hardware modules and ensure performance aligns with specifications.

The role requires a bachelor''s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, and 1 year of embedded software experience, with strong C, RTOS and hardware/software interface skills. Fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering.
• Min 1 year working experience on embedded software and application development.
• Experience architecting firmware, hardware & software interface.
• Proficient in C programming.
• Advanced knowledge of RTOS and embedded system architecture.
• Understanding on communication transport protocol such as SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Firmware / Embedded Software Architecture.
• Conduct Feasibility Study, Design, Implementation, Testing & Maintenance.
• Develop & test new ideas for product improvement.
• Actively participate in cross-functional teams to develop hardware modules as well as address design issue or maintenance of existing hardware modules.
• Analyse & enhance efficiency, stability & scalability of system resources.
• Evaluate, test & review designs to ensure program perform according to requirements & specifications.
• Contribute in continuous improvement across all hardware.
