Job summary

ICHOR Systems Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Electropolishing Operator to perform polishing processes on metal parts in a production environment. The role requires following SOPs, maintaining safety practices, and ensuring parts meet specifications.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, preparing parts, monitoring process parameters, and recording data. Candidates should be able to work shifts, stand for long hours, and contribute to 5S in the production area.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / high school qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing or metal finishing process is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of chemical handling and safety practices.
• Able to read and follow work instructions and technical specifications.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime, and in production environment.
• Good teamwork and discipline.

Responsibilities

• Operate electropolishing machines and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare metal parts for electropolishing process, including cleaning and inspection.
• Monitor chemical concentration, temperature, voltage, and process timing.
• Perform loading and unloading of parts into electropolishing tanks.
• Conduct visual inspection and basic measurement checks on finished products.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Record production data, process parameters, and inspection results accurately.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and PPE requirements.
• Handle chemicals and materials according to safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of work area.
• Report equipment issues, defects, or safety concerns to supervisor immediately.
• Support continuous improvement and 5S activities in production area.
