Job summary

Coherent is expanding its operations in Malaysia, with the growth plan including an R&D center in Penang, and is seeking talents to join the Ipoh site. The company provides a global platform in lasers and photonics and offers stability and growth within a mature manufacturing environment.

This onsite role requires a Diploma in Electronics Engineering, 2–3 years’ experience (fresh graduates welcome). You will handle test board debug, liaise with board designers, and maintain component and tool

Qualifications

• Electronics knowledge, schematic diagram, and good soldering skills.
• 2-3 years of working experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Experience in developing and implementing standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
• Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for test board debug & testing.
• Liaise with board designer to debug test board issues.
• Maintain inventory control of electronic components and tools.
