Job summary

Macnica Malaysia Sdn Bhd seeks an individual with experience in pricing and quotations within the electronics components industry to support product marketing, sales and development activities.

This role requires strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across functional teams.

You will liaise with suppliers, maintain pricing data, process quotations, and assist the Product Manager in achieving sales and profit objectives.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
• 1–3 years relevant experience in electronics components industry.
• Experience in quotation, pricing, product marketing support, or similar role preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot table, vlookup/xlookup, formulas).
• Experience with ERP systems Oracle is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and supplier management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with suppliers to obtain accurate and competitive quotations.
• Coordinate with suppliers for sample requests effectively.
• Maintain good working relationships with suppliers to support ongoing business and product requirements.
• Manage and maintain the company’s pricing database, ensuring all cost, selling price, margin, supplier, and product information is accurate and up to date.
• Process quotation approvals through the relevant internal systems with accuracy.
• Prepare and submit quotation and pricing reports according to schedule.
• Work closely and support the Product Manager in achieving sales and profit objectives.
