Job summary

Valtech Enterprise – Bukit Mertajam, Penang is seeking a Technician Lead to oversee a team of technicians, addressing client issues promptly and ensuring effective product evaluations for the market. The role requires hands-on repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance in electronics.

The ideal candidate will have SPM/Certificate/Diploma or equivalent qualifications, basic knowledge of electronic components, and a valid driving licence. Travel for site visits and service work may be required.

Qualifications

Minimum SPM, Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Electrical or a related field.
Basic knowledge of electronic components, wiring, and electrical systems.
Experience in electronic repair, troubleshooting, or maintenance is an advantage.
Able to use basic hand tools and testing equipment.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsible, reliable, and willing to learn.
Willing to travel for site visits and service work.
Possess a valid driving licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of technicians to meet the company’s technical requirements.
Ensure client issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
Ensure all new product evaluations are carried out effectively, on schedule, and are suitable for the market.
Maintain strong technical proficiency in all Valtech products.
Continuously seek improvements in internal processes and on-site technical operations.
