Job summary

Renesas Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Junior/Senior Equipment Technician (Electrical/Electronic Engineering) to maintain and troubleshoot SPS production equipment, ensuring high availability and product quality.

You will gain hands-on experience with Cu wire bonding, die attach, and solder printing machines, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with engineers on process improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronic, or related Engineering with minimum 3 years of equipment experience.
• Strong knowledge of Smart Power Stage (SPS) package assembly, equipment functions, and process flow.
• Hands-on experience with Cu wire bonding equipment, preferably SHINKAWA models, including setup, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Hands-on experience in die attach and solder printing equipment, preferably CANON, 3S, or ASMPT models.
• Strong troubleshooting, parameter adjustment, root‑cause analysis, communication, safety, SOP, and shift‑support skills.

Responsibilities

• SPS Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment failures, and restore wire bonders, die attach, and solder printers safely and efficiently.
• Process & Equipment Support: Assist machine setup, changeover, alarm recovery, parameter verification, process trials, and production ramp‑up while maintaining equipment and process specifications.
• Compliance, Reporting & Improvement: Follow safety and SOP requirements, maintain accurate equipment records, perform root‑cause analysis, manage critical spare readiness, and support continuous improvement actions.
