Job summary

Renesas Semiconductor (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Experienced Equipment Technician to maintain and troubleshoot SPS production equipment in Bayan Lepas, Penang. You will support Cu wire bonding, die attach, and solder printing processes to ensure high equipment availability and consistent product quality.

You will perform preventive maintenance, assist process and equipment improvements with engineers, uphold safety and SOPs, and maintain accurate equipment records.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronic, or related Engineering discipline with minimum 3 years of equipment experience
• Strong knowledge of Smart Power Stage (SPS) package assembly, equipment functions, and process flow
• Hands-on experience in Cu wire bonding equipment, preferably SHINKAWA models, including setup, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
• Hands-on experience in die attach and solder printing equipment, preferably CANON, 3S, or ASMPT models
• Strong troubleshooting, parameter adjustment, root-cause analysis, communication, safety, SOP, and shift-support skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and perform preventive maintenance on SPS production equipment to ensure high availability and quality
• Support machine setup, changeover, alarm recovery, parameter verification, process trials, and ramp-up
• Follow safety and SOP requirements, maintain equipment records, and contribute to continuous improvement actions
