Sime Darby Industrial Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a skilled Electrician to perform troubleshooting, repair, commissioning and load testing of SDI-supported engines and generator sets. You will conduct diagnostics, execute hands-on maintenance, and ensure compliance with company procedures and SQM standards.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience, basic engine/generator knowledge, and strong communication to coordinate with Senior Technicians at workshops or customer sites.

Qualifications

• SPM, Certificate or Diploma in Engineering or related with 2–4 years of experience in relevant field.
• Basic knowledge of engine and generator troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
• Able to work with minimum supervision and possess good communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, commissioning and load testing of engines and generator sets.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments of components and systems to identify faults and corrective actions.
• Load/unload equipment and prepare units for delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Document service activities accurately and timely, including timecards and service reports.
