Job summary

Sime Darby Industrial Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Engine and Generator Technician to perform troubleshooting, maintenance and repair across workshops and customer sites. You will ensure operational readiness and comply with SQM and safety standards while documenting activities accurately.

Ideal candidates hold SPM/Certificate/Diploma in Engineering with 2–4 years of relevant experience, possess good communication skills, and can work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Hands-on troubleshooting, repair and load testing of engines/generator sets.
• Ability to assess service requirements and select parts/tools.
• Strong communication with senior technicians and ability to document work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, commission, and load test engines and generator sets per procedures.
• Diagnose engine/generator issues and identify corrective actions.
• Complete service reports, timecards, and parts returns accurately.
