Job summary

UVYNOS SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to perform wiring, installation, testing, and maintenance for industrial automation projects in Penang. You will read drawings, install cables and BMS/DDC equipment, and ensure safety compliance on-site.

The role requires 2–3 years of hands-on experience, familiarity with electrical tools, and the ability to travel to project sites. Overtime may be required, with focus on quality workmanship and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Read and understand electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Minimum 2-3 years hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and installation.
• Familiar with electrical tools and safety procedures.
• Willing to travel to project sites and work overtime when required.

Job description

Carry out electrical wiring, cable laying, trunking, and conduit installation for factory and industrial building automation projects.

Install and terminate electrical cables, sensors, control panels, and BMS/DDC equipment.

Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.

Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair works.

Ensure all installation works comply with safety standards and project requirements.

Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and site teams to complete projects on schedule.

Support testing, commissioning, and site installation activities.

Maintain good workmanship, proper cable management, and a clean working environment.

Requirements:

Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, wiring, installation, and troubleshooting, preferably in industrial or automation settings.

Able to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in urgent scenarios.

Familiar with electrical tools, testing equipment, and safety procedures.

Experience in BMS, DDC, PLC, HVAC, or industrial automation is an advantage.

Responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently or in a team.

Willing to travel to project sites and work overtime when required.
