Job description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to oversee machine electrical assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting. This role involves pre-assembling electrical panels, terminating control systems, mounting electrical components, and handling basic PLC programming, uploading, and modifications.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform machine electrical wiring, including cable looping and secure installations.

Terminate control electrical panels and ensure proper connections.

Mount and assemble electrical components on panels following schematics and diagrams.

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and wiring issues during machine setup.

Upload, modify, and perform basic PLC troubleshooting to optimize machine performance.

Support final machine assembly, ensuring electrical systems align with operational requirements.

Assist in relocating new machines, providing electrical setup, wiring, and troubleshooting.

Work closely with engineers and assembly teams to enhance machine functionality and reliability.

Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company protocols.

Expected skills needed:

Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, ir a related field.

2+ years of experience in electrical assembly and troubleshooting.

Strong hands-on experience in machine wiring, panel termination, and electrical troubleshooting.

Basic knowledge of PLC programming, including uploading and modifying logic.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
