TenAsia Corporation Sdn Bhd in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan is seeking an Electrical Technician to maintain, install and troubleshoot electrical systems across our facilities. You will work with modern electrical equipment, adhere to safety standards, and support ongoing projects with a hands-on approach.

Competenze

• NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent electrical qualification.
• Experience as Electrical Technician in industrial, commercial or manufacturing settings.
• Solid knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and safety standards.
• Proficient with testing/diagnostic equipment: multimeters, insulation testers, power analysers.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail and teamwork; driving licence is a plus.

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Technician to join TenAsia Corporation Sdn Bhd in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment across our operations. As an Electrical Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of our electrical infrastructure, contributing directly to the reliability and performance of our facilities. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern electrical systems and equipment whilst developing your technical expertise within a dynamic engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and technical specifications
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical installations to identify potential faults and prevent breakdowns
• Troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques, and implement effective solutions
• Test electrical systems and components to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements
• Follow electrical codes, regulations, and company safety protocols at all times
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections carried out
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineering teams to support larger projects and installations
• Assist in the training of junior technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns to minimise downtime

What we're looking for

• A recognised qualification in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline, such as an NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent certification
• Proven experience working as an Electrical Technician in an industrial, commercial, or manufacturing environment
• Sound knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, wiring practices, and electrical safety standards
• Proficiency with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, insulation testers, and power analysers
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Valid driving licence is advantageous for site visits and maintenance calls
• Familiarity with PLC systems, automation, or power distribution is desirable
