Job summary

Xircle Talent represents a Malaysian electromechanical construction firm delivering data center infrastructure and modular solutions. We are seeking an experienced professional to act as the primary site authority for electrical safety and energy control within a hyperscale data center construction environment.

You will govern energized work, isolate power sources, and ensure commissioning activities do not compromise live operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in electrical safety, energy isolation, or commissioning in mission-critical sectors.
• Advanced proficiency in Lockout/Tagout, energy isolation planning, and electrical switching protocols.
• Experience in live data centers, semiconductor facilities, or hospitals preferred.
• Strong communication and incident management skills to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as the site authority for electrical safety and energy isolation plans.
• Enforce Lockout/Tagout protocols, ensuring all sources are identified and secured.
• Perform field inspections and audits of energy isolation and temporary power.
• Coordinate with client operations to manage work interfaces in live environments.
• Review switching programs and witness energization events during commissioning.
• Lead investigations of electrical incidents and share lessons learned.
• Participate in Change Management to assess impacts of maintenance and shutdowns.
