Job summary

Fiscal Therapy Management is seeking a site manager with a solid background in electrical engineering to oversee complex infrastructure and data centre projects in Malaysia. You will coordinate across clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence while tracking costs and progress.

The role requires reading electrical drawings, strong communication, and Mandarin and English language proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in site management, project coordination, or electrical engineering projects.
• Experience in infrastructure, high-rise building, electrical, or data centre projects is highly preferred.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site workforce is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management and construction site coordination.
• Able to read electrical/construction drawings; proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to communicate with Chinese management and local stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage site activities to ensure progress aligns with schedules, specs, quality, and safety.
• Liaise with clients, main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor progress, costs, quality, safety, and subcontractor performance.
• Supervise subcontractor activities including manpower planning and daily progress tracking.
• Prepare and review project documentation like reports, submissions, inspection records, and progress claims.
• Support variation order management including scope changes and schedule impacts.
• Coordinate with factories on production schedules, progress, and equipment delivery timelines.
• Arrange logistics including transport, imports/exports, and cargo tracking for equipment.
