Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced on-site Project Manager to lead medium to large projects in Johor, Malaysia. You will manage cost, schedule, quality, and safety while coordinating a site team and maintaining strong client relationships.

Role requires 8+ years in field service or site management in Oil & Gas or data centers, with MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS and SCADA exposure. English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering background required.
• Willingness to work on-site in Johor and travel.
• 8+ years in field service or site management in oil & gas, data centers, or similar.
• Experience with MV/LV switchgears, transformers, UPS, SCADA and related equipment.
• Resourceful, independent, collaborative and growth-minded. Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site activities of medium to large projects.
• Ensure cost-effective execution per contract specs, quality standards, schedule and safety requirements.
• Lead the site team, define guidelines, and allocate tasks.
• Coordinate on-site activities for material receiving, installation, testing, commissioning, and defects rectification.
• Ensure all site activities follow schedule, review reports, and hand over areas to the customer.
