Job summary

Sonoco Products (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Rawang is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for electrical maintenance on production machinery to keep operations safe and efficient. You will support preventive maintenance, perform troubleshooting and machine inspections, and contribute to ongoing improvements through Sonoco Performance System (SPS) while upholding workplace safety standards.

Fresh diploma holders may be considered, and the role offers competitive remuneration plus contractual

Qualifications

2–3 years of electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing
Fresh Diploma graduates with strong industrial training may be considered
Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team

Responsibilities

Perform electrical maintenance on production machinery and equipment
Support preventive maintenance activities
Conduct troubleshooting and machine inspections
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives through Sonoco Performance System (SPS)
Maintain compliance with workplace safety standards and operational requirements
