Ye Chiu Non-Ferrous Metal (M) Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia is seeking a meticulous Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of technicians in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair, ensuring safety and reliability of machinery.

The role requires a Diploma/Advanced/Higher in Electrical, Mechatronic or Electronic Engineering, with AutoCAD experience and basic PLC knowledge. Independent work ethic and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, Electronic Engineering or other technical related field
• Experience in AutoCAD (2D 3D)
• Basic Knowledge of PLC
• Able to work independently
• Good interpersonal and communication skill

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of technicians in carrying out electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair activities.
• Ensure electrical appliances, machinery and equipment are in safe and proper working condition.
• Monitor maintenance and repair progress to ensure jobs are completed according to schedule.
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment and machinery issues and analyze their impact on operations.
• Inspect completed repair work and ensure maintenance quality and reliability.
• Coordinate daily electrical maintenance activities and provide technical guidance to technicians.
• Prepare daily maintenance/FFR reports and provide updates to management.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a team of technicians in carrying out electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair activities.

Ensure electrical appliances, machinery and equipment are in safe and proper working condition.

Monitor maintenance and repair progress to ensure jobs are completed according to schedule.

Troubleshoot electrical equipment and machinery issues and analyze their impact on operations.

Inspect completed repair work and ensure maintenance quality and reliability.

Ensure technicians comply with safety procedures and workplace safety requirements.

Coordinate daily electrical maintenance activities and provide technical guidance to technicians.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repair progress and equipment conditions.

Monitor housekeeping and 5S practices within the maintenance area.

Prepare daily maintenance/FFR reports and provide updates to management.

Conduct investigations on electrical equipment failures and prepare technical reports.

Carry out preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.

Identify opportunities for electrical system and equipment improvements.

Assist in electrical improvement design and implementation.

Monitor project quality and ensure maintenance/improvement projects meet required standards.

Perform other maintenance-related duties and projects assigned by the superior.

Requirements

Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, Electronic Engineering or other technical related field

Experienced in AutoCAD (2D 3D)

Basic Knowledge of PLC

Able to work independently

Good interpersonal and communication skill
