Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Limited is hiring an Electrical Engineering Manager at our JB campus to lead maintenance and critical response. You will oversee electrical switching, diagnose faults in LV/MV gear and UPS, and help develop SOPs while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise technicians, coordinate emergency responses, and maintain up-to-date maintenance logs, permits, and certifications, contributing to DayOne’s growing data center footprint in Asia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in critical facilities or industrial electrical systems.
• Experience with UPS, switchgear, grounding, generators.
• Able to supervise technicians and ensure safe work practices.
• Willing to be on call 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical switching, isolation, and testing per licensing and safety standards.
• Diagnose faults and repair LV/MV switchgear, UPS, generators.
• Assist in developing MOPs and SOPs for electrical maintenance.
• Supervise technicians and ensure safe execution of work.
• Review maintenance quality, permits, and documentation.
• Support emergency response during incidents.
• Conduct routine inspections and pre-emptive risk checks.
• Ensure statutory compliance, certifications, and maintenance logs are up to date.
