Job summary

Intelligence Technology Services Sdn Bhd is seeking an Electrical Projects Lead to oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of HV/LV infrastructure for mission-critical facilities in Penang, Malaysia. You will review drawings, plan materials, and support RFQs to ensure on-time delivery.

You will prepare ITPs and C&K reports, resolve design clashes, and collaborate with consultants, vendors, and internal teams to maximize uptime and reliability while meeting safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years in industrial, M&E, or mission-critical construction.
• Hands-on experience in Data Centres, semiconductor plants, or high-tech facilities is a strong advantage.
• Deep understanding of electrical distribution systems (HV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS redundancy, generators, ELV, and fire alarms).
• Familiarity with local electrical safety codes, regulations, and rigorous T&C procedures for high-load facilities.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities, capable of working independently and across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of HV/LV infrastructure, switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, and earthing systems for high-tech facilities and data centres.
• Review electrical drawings, SLDs, and specs; perform quantity take-offs, material planning, and support RFQs and procurement.
• Prepare and submit ITPs, method statements, material submittals, and T&C reports.
• Resolve design clashes, site constraints, and technical issues with code-compliant, value-engineered solutions to maximize uptime and reliability.
• Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to drive smooth execution.
• Ensure site installations comply with approved drawings, statutory regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Track progress and schedules for electrical packages to support the Project Manager in delivering mission-critical projects.
