Kerry Malaysia is seeking an Electrical Engineer to ensure reliability and compliance of instrumentation and control systems at the Pasir Gudang site. The role focuses on calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to support safe, efficient plant operations.

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and compliance of all instrumentation and control systems at Pasir Gudang site. This role focuses on calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of instrumentation systems to support safe and efficient plant operations.
Reporting to: Engineering and Maintenance Manager
Calibration & Testing: Plan and execute calibration of instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level) to meet standards.
Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for instrumentation and control systems.
Compliance: Ensure all instrumentation activities comply with GMP, Food Safety, and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve instrumentation issues to minimize downtime and maintain process accuracy.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of calibration, maintenance, and compliance in SAP PM system.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance instrumentation reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
Project Support: Assist in instrumentation design, installation, and commissioning for new projects.
Training: Provide technical training to maintenance teams on instrumentation best practices.
Key Accountabilities
Ensure accurate and reliable performance of all plant instrumentation.
Maintain compliance with calibration and safety standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives for instrumentation systems.
Provide timely troubleshooting and technical support to operations.
Maintain SAP PM data integrity for instrumentation activities.
Skills and Qualifications
Competency: COMPETENT ELECTRICAL CHARGEMAN BO is a must - 11 KV
Registered or eligible to be registered as Registered Energy Manager (REM) Type 2 under EECA 2024.
Education: Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering (essential)
Technical: Instrumentation systems, calibration, PLC/DCS knowledge, SAP PM (essential); 3+ years experience (desirable)
Behavioral: Attention to detail, problem-solving, teamwork
