Kerry Malaysia is seeking a Hygienist to implement sanitation standards, drive food safety risk reduction, and support continuous improvement at the Tampoi plant.
You will lead GMP compliance, IPM initiatives, and train sanitation personnel while partnering with operations and QA to maintain top quality.
This role reports to the Assistant FSQ System Manager and requires 3–4 years in sanitation/food safety within manufacturing.
The Hygienist is responsible for implementing Sanitation standard practice, ensuring compliance with all Kerry’s key customers, approved codes of practice and Kerry policies and procedures.
He/ she is responsible for implementing Sanitation and continuous improvement initiatives at manufacturing plant and drive food safety risk reduction program in alignment with Regional Sanitation Team. Assist in the plant Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

Reporting to : Assistant FSQ System Manager
Conduct inspection and perform gap analysis of sanitation program
Monitor GMP and housekeeping activities to maintain plant standard
Develop and implement training to support sanitation program
Empower sanitation personnel to maintain documentation and coach when deviation occurs
Take ownership of department deficiencies and implement countermeasures.
Communicates to management on any gaps and corrective actions.
To manage and ensure the plant GMP and Hygiene are maintained.
Able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and ability to deliver outstanding results without compromise to safety or quality.
Following prescribe guidelines he/she establishes the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards, which includes Integrated Pest Management (IPM) in all the production plants including Warehouse and Utilities with the Quality Lead Manager of the site.
Provides support and guidance to the Production teams and all other Service Departments in order to reach the GMP standards set and in order to deliver products of the correct quality.
Proposes and implements Continuous Improvement Projects especially on hygiene, quality and food safety.
A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Microbiology, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3-4 years in Sanitation and Food Safety within an Operations Quality role.
Proficient in prerequisite programs, HACCP, hazard analysis, and conducting risk assessments with teams.
Basic knowledge of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a plus.
Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and implement effective sanitation systems.
Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship management skills.
Ability to understand, interpret, and apply policies and procedures effectively.
Strong focus on results and a service delivery mindset.
