Job summary

Leader Energy Group Berhad is seeking an Electrical Engineer to oversee the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems for a 100MWac solar farm in Sarawak. You will manage BoS, MV and HV interconnections, ensuring grid integration with SEB.

You will coordinate with civil/structural teams, EPCs, and consultants to meet schedule and budget. Strong knowledge of local regulations and HSE is required; WFH is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical or related).
• 3–5 years of project management experience in renewable energy, power, or infrastructure.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale solar or power projects in Sarawak.
• Knowledge of EI U regulations and SEB procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems for a 100MWac solar farm.
• Coordinate with Civil/Structural teams for site works and equipment placement.
• Manage EPCs/consultants to keep project on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain site diaries, RFIs, and as‑built drawings; monitor budget and variation orders.
• Lead commissioning activities and ensure HV interconnection meets grid codes.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related)

GCPV System Designer/Installer certification (advantage)
