Job summary

HII Brothers Engineering Sdn. Bhd. in Sarawak is seeking an Electrical Engineer to plan, design, and supervise electrical infrastructure projects including overhead lines, underground cables, transformers, substations and street lighting.

You will prepare technical drawings, review reports and BOQs, and monitor site activities for timely delivery. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Power System) or equivalent, with strong knowledge of 11kV/33kV systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power System) or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of 11kV/33kV systems; experience in distribution, transmission, or substation works is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and supervise electrical works (overhead lines, underground cables, transformers, substations, street lighting).
• Prepare and review technical drawings, reports, BOQ, and cost estimations.
• Supervise site activities, testing, and commissioning to ensure timely project delivery.
• Ensure all works comply with safety standards, statutory requirements, and client specifications, and safety standards.
• Work closely with project teams, contractors, consultants, and clients to achieve project objectives.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution during project execution.
• Respond promptly to all breakdown and minimize downtime.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power System) or equivalent.

• Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
• Fluent in English and Malay (both spoken and written).
• Possess a valid Driving License (D/DA).
• Preferably below 40 years old.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Based in Sibu, Sarawak.

Starting from RM3500 - RM5500 ( Depending on working experience)
