AEM Microtronics (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an Electrical Engineer to design electrical interlocks and power distribution for semiconductor equipment, and to integrate and validate sub-systems. The role includes developing diagnostic tools and fixtures for manufacturing and field services.

The candidate should have a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years in relevant design, prefer experience in wafer fabrication or semiconductor equipment, and familiarity with Ethernet/TCP/IP and

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 3+ years experience in electrical interlock and power distribution design.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in wafer fabrication or semiconductor equipment or medical equipment industry preferred.
• Experience in motion control/automation/control loops.
• Experience implementing PCB, frame grabbers, CCD, A/D and I/O boards; strong diagnostic skills and resolving noise/grounding/signal integrity issues.
• Expertise on power distribution for AC and DC.
• Familiar with Ethernet and TCP/IP.
• Electrical safety regulatory compliance.
• Team player with good writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Define electrical system/sub-system design specifications with system engineers.
• Design interlock and power distribution for semiconductor machinery.
• Manage external vendors/contractors to deliver sub-systems meeting specs and reliability.

Work with system engineers to define electrical system/sub-system design specifications.

Design electrical interlock and power distribution systems for semiconductor machinery.

Manage external vendor or contractors to deliver sub-systems that meet design specification and reliability requirements.

Integrate, test and validate system/sub-system.

Design diagnostic tools/fixtures for manufacturing and field services.

Prerequisites (Qualifications and Experience)

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field with 3 years or more experience in electrical interlock and power distribution system design.

Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Experienced in wafer fabrication process industry, semiconductor equipment industry or medical equipment industry is preferred.

Experienced in motion control / automation / control loops system.

Experienced in implementation of PCB, frame grabbers, CCD, cap gage, A/D and I/O boards.Strong diagnostic skills and capable of resolving electrical noise, grounding and signal integrity issues.

Expertise on power distribution for both AC and DC.

Familiar with Ethernet and TCP/IP protocol.Experienced in electrical safety regulatory compliance.

Team player with good writing and verbal communication skills.
