Job summary

Casaciti Sdn Bhd is seeking an Electrical Engineer to analyze drawings, interpret specifications for tenders, and manage electrical projects in Malaysia. You will liaise with engineers and clients to ensure satisfaction, ensure safety compliance, and document quality assurance reports.

Proficiency with CAD is essential. Ideal candidates will have experience handling HV/LV distribution concepts and coordinating with cross-functional teams on industrial projects in oil & gas, chemical, and power

Qualifications

• Analyzing technical drawings, interpreting specs and quantities for tender bidding and procurement.
• Knowledge in HV/LV power distribution, lighting, earthing and protection systems.
• Liaising with engineers and clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Managing and monitoring electrical projects, ensuring deadlines and budgets.
• Ensuring health and safety codes are obeyed on site and in reports.
• Quality assurance on electrical components and projects; documenting MOS/JSA/ITP/As Built.
• Drafting designs with CAD software and reviewing construction plans.
• Diagnosing problems and troubleshooting equipment efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and specifications to prepare tender bids and procurement lists.
• Coordinate with project team and clients to align on electrical scope.
• Oversee electrical installation progress, quality and safety compliance.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation (MOS/JSA/ITP/As Built).
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment and resolve on-site issues promptly.

Job description

Analyzing technical drawings, interpreting specifications and quantities for tender bidding & procurement, and determining the electrical requirements of a given project.

Knowledge in, but not limited to: HV/LV power distribution, Power, lighting & earthing, Lightning protection system, and etc.

Liaising with other engineers and clients to ensure overall customer satisfaction.

Managing and monitoring all assigned electrical projects.

Ensuring health and safety codes are obeyed at all times.

Completing quality assurance on all electrical components and projects and writing up documents/reports. (Including MOS/JSA/ITP/As Built and etc.)

Using CAD software to draft designs.

Analyzing and approving various construction and engineering plans.

Diagnosing problems, problem solving and troubleshooting equipment.

Ensuring all deadlines, budgetary, and installation requirements are met.

Keeping abreast of the latest developments in electrical engineering.
