Job summary

SGS is seeking a capable Project Engineer/Reviewer to operate and manage a consumer safety laboratory in Johor. The role requires ensuring ISO17025 compliance, leading projects, and liaising with clients on test results and justifications.

The successful candidate will contribute to training, support management decisions, and uphold SGS integrity and health, safety, and environment standards in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of laboratory quality management systems, ISO17025.
• Experience leading a team in a consumer safety laboratory is advantageous for a managerial role.
• Fresh graduates with relevant studies are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Operate consumer safety laboratory based on the ISO17025 requirements and maintain the accreditation inproviding consumer products safety testing, particularly in electrical and electronics
• Ensure projects being completed according to the commitments to clients.
• Liaise with client on laboratory test result and justification.
• Work on safety projects as project engineer or reviewer.
• Get qualification as approve technical reviewer.
• Provide technical training to clients.
• Provide internal training to other staffs as needs.
• Support management in making investment decision.
• Work on projects as assigned by the management.
• At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.
• Adherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by uphold a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance to the HSE requirements.
• Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management

Qualifications
