Job summary

ONE KK SWITCHGEAR SDN BHD in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, seeks a Draughtsman / Electrical Draughtsman to join the team. You will prepare electrical and switchboard drawings, SLDs, and GA drawings, liaising with engineering and production to ensure fabrication-ready outputs.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD / ZWCAD, the ability to read electrical diagrams, and a detail-oriented, team-friendly approach. Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD / ZWCAD or similar drafting software.
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings and SLDs.
• Detail-oriented, organised and responsible.
• Able to work independently as well as within a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify electrical & switchboard drawings based on project requirements.
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), schematic diagrams, control wiring and layout drawings.
• Produce detailed GA and panel fabrication drawings.
• Revise drawings per consultant/client comments and site requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, production and project teams for accurate fabrication.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and electrical standards.
• Maintain documentation and revision control of drawings.
• Assist engineering with technical documentation and drafting-related tasks.
• Experience in electrical drafting or switchboard/M&E industry is an added advantage.

As ONE KK SWITCHGEAR SDN BHD continues to grow, we are looking for a Draughtsman / Electrical Draughtsman to join our expanding team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah!

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify electrical & switchboard drawings based on project requirements
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), schematic diagrams, control wiring and layout drawings
• Produce detailed General Arrangement (GA) and panel fabrication drawings
• Revise drawings according to consultant/client comments and site requirements
• Coordinate with engineering, production and project teams to ensure drawings are accurate and practical for fabrication
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and relevant electrical standards
• Maintain proper documentation and revision control of drawings
• Assist the engineering team with technical documentation and other drafting-related tasks
• Experience in electrical drafting, switchboard or M&E industry is an added advantage
