Job summary

Beratung Consultants Private Limited is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer in Malaysia to design LT/HT distribution systems, SLDs, and power layouts for commercial projects. You will prepare and review drawings, specifications, and BOQs using AutoCAD and Revit MEP, and perform essential load calculations and sizing.

Collaborating with MEP teams, you will ensure adherence to IEC/NEC codes and local standards, and participate in design reviews, site visits, and client presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10-15 years of experience in electrical design for commercial or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP; knowledge of ETAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design LT/HT electrical distribution systems, SLDs, and power layouts for commercial projects.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, and BOQs using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and equipment sizing.
• Coordinate with MEP disciplines for integrated building design.
• Ensure designs comply with IEC, NEC, and local electrical standards.
• Support procurement, vendor evaluation, and technical submittals.
• Participate in design reviews, site visits, and client presentations.
