Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Technician Electrical Chargeman A0-A1 in Kulim to maintain small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and assist with installation and modification of building equipment under supervision.

Responsibilities include following established procedures, coordinating with teams, and ensuring energy management and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems and exchange straightforward information clearly.
• Deliver output by following defined procedures under guidance.
