Job summary

Seargin is seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant to join our Finance Deployment team in Kuala Lumpur and lead SAP S/4HANA implementations across countries. The role focuses on Fixed Assets, CAPEX and Leasing (IFRS 16).

You will work closely with Finance business teams to translate requirements into SAP solutions. We value hands-on configuration skills, end-to-end project involvement, and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional SAP FI/CO experience.
• Strong experience with Fixed Assets, CAPEX and Leasing.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Ideally 3–4 full SAP implementation cycles involving Fixed Assets, CAPEX and Leasing.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO and Capex Consultant to join a Finance Deployment team and support SAP S/4HANA implementation projects across different countries.

The role focuses on Fixed Assets, CAPEX and Leasing (IFRS 16) processes. The consultant will work closely with Finance business teams, understand their requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with Finance business teams to understand processes and business requirements.
• Act as a functional consultant and translate business requirements into SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Design, configure, test and implement SAP solutions related to Fixed Assets, CAPEX and Leasing.
• Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation projects, including business blueprinting and solution design.
• Lead or participate in fit-to-template and design workshops with business stakeholders.
• Configure and support SAP modules and solutions, including FI-AA, CAPEX and SAP Contract Lease Management (CLM).
• Support system changes from initial analysis and solution design through testing and deployment to production.
• Work with integration areas such as MM, SD, PP and FI/CO.
• Support asset lifecycle processes, including asset creation, onboarding, reassessment, retirement and depreciation.
• Support IFRS 16 leasing processes and their integration with Finance.
• Ensure appropriate testing and documentation of validated systems.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams, project teams and other Agile Release Trains.
• Manage business stakeholders and ensure effective communication between Finance and IT.
• Ensure compliance with IT, security, quality, privacy and regulatory requirements.

Required experience

• 5+ years of professional SAP FI/CO experience.
• Strong experience with Fixed Assets (FI-AA), CAPEX and Leasing.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Ideally, 3–4 full SAP implementation cycles involving Fixed Assets, CAPEX and Leasing.
• Strong knowledge of:
• -Fixed Assets / FI-AA
• -CAPEX processes
• -IFRS 16 Leasing
• -SAP Contract Lease Management (CLM)
• -Asset master data and asset lifecycle
• -Depreciation keys and asset classes
• -Investment Management / Project System
• Experience with business blueprinting and fit-to-template / design workshops.
• Ability to configure SAP solutions, not only provide business analysis.
• Experience with Finance processes and a general understanding of FI-GL.
• Basic understanding of integration points between FI and MM, SD and PP.
• Experience with system validation, documentation and testing.
• Experience with SAP implementations for Latin American or APAC countries is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of IFRS and Finance controls.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Advanced English, both written and spoken.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on SAP FI/CO Functional Consultant with strong experience in Fixed Assets, CAPEX and Leasing / IFRS 16.

They should have delivered several full SAP implementation cycles and be comfortable working directly with Finance stakeholders, running workshops, designing solutions and configuring SAP.

Strong communication skills, stakeholder management and an understanding of Finance processes end-to-end are very important for this position.
