Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a qualified EHS professional to develop and maintain safety programs in line with Malaysia OSHA. You will conduct risk assessments and inspections, manage incident investigations, and drive corrective actions across cleanroom, manufacturing, and facility operations.

Role requires SHO registration with DOSH, 3–5 years of EHS experience in high-tech manufacturing, and strong English/Malay communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
• Registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH (JKKP) is required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of EHS / Safety experience in semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing, or high-tech industry.
• Good knowledge of Malaysia OSHA, EQA, FMA, and related regulations.
• Experience in HIRARC, incident investigation, safety audit, chemical safety, and emergency response.
• Familiar with cleanroom safety requirements, hazardous chemical management, and industrial hygiene practices.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and training skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skill is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and safety programs in compliance with Malaysia OSHA and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections, risk assessments (HIRARC), and follow up on corrective actions.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with EHS requirements in cleanroom, manufacturing, chemical handling, and facility operations.
• Manage incident investigation, reporting, and preventive action implementation.
• Conduct safety training, toolbox meetings, and emergency response drills for employees.
• Support environmental management, waste disposal, chemical safety, and pollution control activities.
• Liaise with DOSH (JKKP), BOMBA, DOE, and other relevant authorities for compliance matters.
• Maintain EHS documentation, records, reports, and audit preparation.
