Job summary

HiredChina.com国际人才招聘网 is seeking an EHS Officer to support day-to-day safety, health and environmental management at a manufacturing facility in Malaysia. You’ll work with site teams, contractors and management to keep operations safe and compliant.

Responsibilities include developing procedures, conducting inspections, delivering training and liaising with authorities such as DOSH/DOE. A Diploma or above with 2+ years of experience and DOSH Green Book certification are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• DOSH Green Book certification.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and strong EHS documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with site teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and review factory safety and health procedures.
• Conduct weekly site inspections, safety audits and hazard assessments, reporting findings to management.
• Deliver safety training and review of new machinery and processes.
• Monitor contractors, vendors and visitors to ensure safety compliance.
• Manage scheduled waste: labeling, storage, records and reporting.
• Liaise with DOSH, DOE and other authorities on EHS matters.
• Identify safety risks related to utilities and daily operations with facility teams.
