Job summary

Mills Recruitment is partnering with an established data centre infrastructure player in Malaysia to recruit an experienced Deputy Safety Manager. You will support on-site safety initiatives, ensure compliance with DOSH, CIDB, and FMA, and help strengthen the project’s EHS culture across fast-paced construction operations.

You will work with the EHS Manager, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, conduct risk assessments and incident investigations, and prepare RA, PTW, and HIRA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, M&E Engineering, or related fields.
• Familiar with Malaysian EHS regulations, construction safety standards, and risk control systems.
• Able to prepare RA, PTW, HIRA, and Incident Reports.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of project EHS systems and standards.
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and compliance checks.
• Track and follow up on corrective actions and compliance records.

What You Will Do

Who We Are Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, M&E Engineering, or related fields. Minimum 6 years of construction or M&E EHS management experience.
• Familiar with Malaysian EHS regulations, construction safety standards, and risk control systems.
• Able to prepare RA, PTW, HIRA, and Incident Reports
• Malaysian Green Book certification required; NEBOSH/OSHA preferred.
• Experience working with subcontractors or site teams
• Basic understanding of incident investigation and risk prevention
• Experience in construction safety or EHS-related roles
